FUCKING WII BRICK!!!

Hmmm….
I hate my Wii…
I while ago I managed to brick my Wii, this means that I’ve made it pretty much useless. It was useless because I couldn’t get to the Wii menu, it would come up with an error message stating that some files were corrupt.
null
The files were some home screen programs I tried to edit. I wanted to replace the display pictures for the program, but I must’ve messed up somewhere. So when the wii booted up and tried to load all the graphics for the main screen, it couldn’t understand the files I edited and would instead display that error message.
Slightly worried I googled for a solution, I found the SaveMii.

It was a device which plugged into the gamecube memory card slot, and would make the console enter a special “boot mode”.
The “boot mode” can be used to boot game discs, and special boot discs. Certain boot discs can be created to boot programs such as “AnyTitle Deleter” which I could use to delete the corrupted files. I thought this could be my solution, so I looked around and found that SaveMii cost over 50bucks, this was unacceptable, but luckily I found an alternative; SaveMiiFrii.

Using just a gamecube controller you can access the same “boot mode” without forking out $50.
So it was off to ebay, I ordered and payed for one controller, but after 2 months of waiting and communicating, I never got it, and they stopped responding. But it was only a few dollars so it wasn’t that much of a loss.
So another month later I bought another one, I got it a few days ago and tried it out.
It worked, without even the need to open it up, it goes into boot mode, and Smash Bros Brawl started, I was relieved.

However I still had to try to get it to run AnyTitle Deleter. I created a boot disc out of a cd and put it in, no response. I got worried again.
I tried a few times, no luck. So it was back to google, frantically trying to find out the problem.
I eventually come to the conclusion that I am unable to boot to the disc, because I have neither a mod chip, nor the appropriate softmod. This is bad.
However as I have access to Wii games, I have a look at the possible Homebrew exploits. First up, the good old twilight hack, it sounds promising, I can boot Zelda. So I should be able to use the hack. It works by loading a modified save file which will then boot any dol file. But unfortunately I had deleted my previous hacked save on my wii, and I can’t put it back without the Wii menu… DAMN IT.

It was looking grim, what else is there?
Bannerbomb? Nope, that requires access to the Wii menu.
Indiana Pwns? Nope, I don’t have Lego Indy.
Smash Stack? Nop… Wait what?

Smash Stack is a recently found exploit which uses the stage builder in Super Smash Bros Brawl. It pretends to be a stage on your sd card and instead loads a program. Sounds perfect. :D A light of hope. So I follow the instructions: move all levels to the SD, rename it to prevent them from being loaded, place the hack files on the sd, place the software on the sd, insert the sd into the wii and open stage builder. :D loading. :D 0 stages on SD :D :| :(
It wasn’t working, I try again, I try a different program, I start all over again. No luck.
I then find out it only works for the USA version.
GODDAMNIT!!!
AGGGHHHH!!!!!
